Sparks Academy Winter USACO Camp is the best program we have created so far for interested and talented students to improve their USACO contest skills during the winter break. The expert teacher in this field, Mr. James Yang, will teach and train the students in a fun and challenging class environment. It consists of intensive lectures, practice sessions, in class competitions. The students will try to solve real and modified USACO contest problems from recent years. The problem solving part will also be a in class competition. There is going to be a leader board to show the students’ progress. All camps will use C++ as the main instructional language. Please read this article for the explanation of this choice.

Prerequisite: Finished Algebra I, no programming background required
Schedule:
11am-1pm CST: Lecture. The teacher will teach algorithms.
2pm-4pm CST: The students work on homework problems together with the TA’s help
