Our flagship math competition course spans 24 weeks, focusing on AIME training. The ultimate aim is to elevate students’ AIME contest scores to 10 or higher. Many of our course alumni have progressed to notable achievements, including participation in the JMO, AMO, and MOP. Among these accomplished individuals, Max Lu recently earned a silver medal at the 2023 IMO.
Encompassing the entirety of high school-level mathematics, the course is divided into 24 distinct topics. Each lecture is dedicated to an in-depth exploration of a single subject. Post-lecture, students receive a set of around 5 exercise problems to tackle as homework. In the previous iteration of the AIME course, we effectively addressed 121 problems of AIME-caliber.
Commencing each class, a thorough analysis of the designated homework problems takes place. This analysis encompasses not only solution provision but also elucidates problem-solving methodologies. Students are required to submit comprehensive, step-by-step solutions for their homework assignments. The instructor conducts meticulous evaluations and offers constructive feedback on these submissions. This pedagogical methodology is intentionally structured to nurture logical and rigorous thinking in students, all the while preparing them for the challenges of the JMO.

The AMC12 contest covers some mathematical concepts that are not tested in the AMC10, such as logarithms, complex numbers, trigonometric functions, and more. These concepts might become focal points of assessment in the AMC12. Our AMC12 course primarily focuses on these aspects of knowledge.
After each class, there will be accompanying homework. If your child is planning to take the AMC12 this year and has only taken the AMC10 before, do not miss this opportunity. The AMC12 places greater emphasis on depth, breadth, and complexity compared to the AMC10, requiring students to possess higher levels of mathematical proficiency and problem-solving abilities. To prepare for the AMC12, additional practice with past exam questions is necessary outside of class. For students enrolled in the class, we will provide a two-month Silver-level membership to our math dojo, which offers a plethora of practice problems.
