The Beginner Programming Summer Camp is designed for beginners aged 11 and above who have no prior programming experience. Basic algebra knowledge is required. Students will learn about computer hardware and software, as well as programming with Scratch, Python, and C++ languages.
The main purpose of this camp is to ignite and cultivate the students’ interest in programming. The camp is designed to be both fun and interesting, providing a welcoming environment for students to explore programming concepts and build their skills. The daily schedule is as follows:
10am-12pm CST: Lecture. The teacher will deliver a lecture.
2pm-4pm CST: Hands-on session. The teacher will guide the students through programming exercises on their computers.
4:30pm-6:30pm CST: TA session. The TA will assist the students in completing their assignments.
