Course Overview
The student will practice the USACO bronze level contest problems of the most recent 2 seasons. The student will work on the contest problems before the lesson, then the teacher will go over them in detail during lesson. All lessons are recorded so the students can review them if necessary. This course is for students who has some programming background and want to compete in USACO bronze division. The classes are taught in C++. The goal is when the student finishes the course, the student will be comfortable in solving USACO bronze division contest problems and be promoted to the silver division. This course has 8 lessons. Each lesson lasts 2 hours.
If a students has previously taken our Bronze-level course, including the Bronze-level summer camp, this practice course will be an excellent opportunity for the student to apply what he or she has learned in class and master the skills. If the student has only taken our Bronze-level course without doing practice, it may be difficult to quickly solve problems when the December competition comes. This practice course is recently enhanced in two significant ways: first, Teacher Yang will personally teach it, and second, in addition to practicing recent USACO competition questions from the last two years, we will also practice other targeted problem types. The number of practice questions each week will be six at the Bronze level. During class, the teacher will explain relevant knowledge in detail and impart practical competition techniques. Our teacher will also interact with the students in our discord channel to assist their study.
